This trek is the perfect combination of natural and cultural beauty. We will enjoy the ecosystem and the magnificent view of the snow-capped Salkantay located at 6,264 meters above sea level and which is considered one of the most representative mountains of the Vicalbamba mountain range. This trek transports us to the Inca era and makes us feel the spirit of the mountains such as Tucarhuay or Humantay.

Cusco - Mollepata – Soraypampa – Lago Humantay - Cusco
We pick up our passengers around 05:30 hrs in the direction of Mollepata, located about 3000 meters above sea level, we will make a small stop and continue to the camp in Soraypampa located at 3900 meters above sea level. From this point, we will begin the trek between an impressive and spectacular valley, surrounded by snowy mountains such as the Humantay Mountain and the Salkantay Mountain. On the way, we will meet the Laguna de Humantay, where we will delight with its natural beauty and if it is in good physical condition, we can continue ascending the Salkantay Pampa mountain, where we will have a view of the spectacular snowy mountain of Salkantay . After the tour, we return to Soraypampa where our vehicle will be waiting for us to return to Cusco.

People who live in places less than 1000 meters high, we recommend be in Cusco, at least 2-3 days before, to acclimatise to this tour.
In our shared services, we will pick up our clients from your hotel as long as you are in the center of the city.
In our shared services, at the end of the tour, we leave our clients in a place close to the Main Square, it is easier to return to your hotel by walking than to go on the bus, since the traffic is terrible. If your hotel is far from the city center, take extra cash to take a taxi.
The pick-up and arrival times are referential, this will depend on the traffic that can be found in the streets or the delay of the other customers, our assistant will arrive on time at your hotel, but sometimes the transport could be delayed a few minutes.
