Physical preparation is important for treks or climbing routes in the Cordillera Blanca or Huayhuash where the altitude can be more than 4000 meters above sea level. We recommend that you have two or three days of acclimatization, depending on the degree of difficulty of the trekking or climbing that will take place, the acclimatization trek in Laguna Llaca, located in the Llaca Glacier within the Huascarán National Park, approximately 30 minutes from Huaraz, is one of the walks you can take to prepare your activity.
Around 05:00hrs, we will leave the city of Huaraz to the Refuge Center of Training of the Association of Mountain Guides of Peru, where we will start the walk surrounded by a spectacular landscape we will take the main climbing route of the Nevado Vallunaraju ( 5686 masl) and others such as Ranrapalca (6162 masl) and Ocshapalca (5881 masl). We will arrive at the Llaca Lagoon at approximately 4474 masl. We will enjoy the snow-capped mountains and the magnificent landscape that surrounds us, we will spend about an hour here and then return to the city of Huaraz, arriving at approximately 18:00hrs.
