The client is in the obligation to see his tourist visa, to enter Peru, the passport must have a validity of 8 months minimum. These regulations can vary, consult previously with the consulate of the country where you will travel.

TIME OF PERMANENCE INSIDE MACHU PICCHU:

  • The time inside Machu Picchu will be a maximum of four (4) hours from the time of the entry until the departure, between 6:00 and 4:00 p.m., according to the respective registration (it closes at 5:30 p.m.). Except for the tickets that combine with alternate routes 1: Waynapicchu Mountain and 2: Machupicchu Mountain, they can spend 6 hours.
  • The number of tickets to be sold by schedules will be established according to the capacity of Machu Picchu and the use of alternate roads that allow entry.
  • Re-entry to Machupicchu is not allowed, except for reasons of force majeure.
  • The breach of the time of permanence (4 hours) generates the additional charge of another extra ticket, otherwise the immediate withdrawal of the tourists and guides, this with the support of the authorities.

ENTER WITH A DRON TO PERU

According to your inquiry, when a drone enters our country through the airport; the CUSTOMS, will verify and determine if the drone is internal or not (it is their jurisdiction).

You do not need a permit when you bring a (01) drone to Peru. Print the following document: https://www.gob.pe, you must show the document to CUSTOMS, and indicate that you will use the drone temporarily .

If the CUSTOM seizes the drone, it will instruct you to approach the Ministry of Transport and Communications, where you will receive a document that will allow you to complete the process of obtaining your drone at the airport.

Comply with Operational Limitations: No person may operate a RPAS:

  1. If the maximum take-off mass of the RPA exceeds 25 Kg.
  2. On populated areas, except in exceptional cases authorized by the DGCA in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 8, subparagraph (f) of this regulation.
  3. In areas of concentration of people.
  4. Without the RPAS manufacturer's manual.
  5. When all the prescriptions indicated in said manual regarding the maintenance and operation of the RPAS are not met.
  6. Without having previously performed a pre-flight inspection to determine that the RPAS is in a safe condition to operate and have registered and signed such inspection.
  7. Without having submitted a flight plan to the corresponding ATC in the cases that are applicable.
  8. About people not involved in the operation.
  9. In proximity of people or obstacles, having to maintain a vertical separation of the RPA greater than 20 meters and horizontal separation greater than 30 meters, in relation to any obstacle. These margins apply to the take-off / launch, landing / recovery and during all phases of the flight and in addition to the operational restrictions of each RPA model established in the corresponding manual.
  10. Above 500 ft (152.4 m) above the ground.
  11. Above 100 mph (87 Kt) of airspeed.
  12. Out of conditions of an operation with visual direct visibility
  13. In nocturnal conditions (after sunset or before sunrise).
  14. For more than one continuous hour.
  15. For more than 80% of the autonomy established by the manufacturer.
  16. With a pilot who has not been accredited and / or who has not been authorized.
  17. Neglecting exclusive attention to the control of the operation of the RPAS. It is prohibited to hand over control to another pilot / operator while the RPA is in flight and command two RPAs simultaneously.
  18. Operate a RPAS under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  19. Less than 4 km from an aerodrome, except for the purpose of preventing impacts with birds, as stipulated in subsection (g) of this paragraph.
  20. On communication routes, including all road infrastructure (viaducts, roads, trails, bridges), electrical and telecommunications transmission infrastructure (poles, towers, cables and antennas), navigable water courses and pipelines for transport of hydrocarbons. Without prejudice to this, the RPA may fly close to these roads, maintaining a horizontal separation greater than 30 meters, the edge or end thereof.
  21. You can not drop or throw objects, material or fluids from the RPAS except in cases where you have express authorization from the DGAC on the basis of technical reports on environmental impact issued by the competent authority.

IN CONCLUSION: You can enter Peru with one drone per person, but this should not be professional or very sophisticated. Sometimes, you can waste many hours at the airport and even days if your drone is commandeered by the CUSTOMS, this will depend on how sophisticated your drone is.

Remember that the NTC: 001-2015 can only fly the RPAS in rural or private areas, not in urban areas if it does not have the authorization of the DGAC.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GET  A TOURIST VISA TO ENTER CHILE:

  1. Hotel reservations or;
  2. Invitation letter indicating, time and reason for travel to Chile, full name of the inviter, identification document number, address, telephone number and copy of your identity document. And the guest's full name and passport number. It must also be legalized before a Notary.
  3. Valid passport.
  4. If you are a resident of Peru, you must present a copy of the Alien Registration Card
  5. Accredit Economic Solvency (Payment Cards, Bank Account Statements, etc.)
  6. All requests must be made on the website https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl  and the documents requested must be attached. Once the application is received, the date and time for your interview will be indicated.
  7. The visa process takes between 15 to 30 days.

HOTEL RESERVATION

In hotel reservations in Peru, Chile, Bolivia and Ecuador, all tourists are exempt from paying taxes, for this, it is necessary to present the original passport with the stamp of entry to the country at the time of check in. In the case of a shared room, if one of the passengers does not meet the requirements for exemption from the tax, the entire room will be affected by the tax and must be paid according to the percentage of each country. In Peru, Peruvians and foreigners domiciled or resident in Peru are subject to 18% IGV according to the Law (Dec.Leg.919).
