Salkanta Humantay Trek 2 days With Domes

In this tour we will visit the wonderful Humantay lagoon, combined with the beautiful views offered by the Andes and the Salkantay and Humantay snow-capped mountains, overnight in domes.

ITINERARY

Day 01: CUSCO | CHALLACANCHA-SORAYPAMPA-SKY CAMP-HUMANTAY LAGOON

I pick up our clients from the hotel at approximately 4am, our bus will take us to Mollepata, where we will have breakfast, then we will continue with our vehicle to Challacancha, this is the starting point of our walk. Then we will start our trek to Soraypampa (3870 masl), from there we will have a beautiful view of the Humantay and Salkantay mountains, that is where our Sky Camp (lunch) is located.

In the afternoon, we will continue our walk to the Humantay lagoon (4222 masl), then we will return to our camp where we will have dinner, spend the night in the Skycamps, from where we will have the opportunity to sleep with a view of a beautiful starry sky.

Day 02: SORAYPAMPA | SKY CAMP-ABRA SALKANTAY-SORAYPAMPA-CUSCO

We will wake up at 5:30 am, after breakfast, we will continue our excursion, we will ascend to the highest point of this walk (the Salkantay pass 4638msnm), from there we will have a wonderful view of the entire mountain range, then we will start our way back to Soroyrococha where We will have lunch, then we will continue to our Skylodges camp, where our transport will wait for us, to take us back to the city of Cusco, where we will arrive at approximately 6pm.

Notes:

People who live in places less than 1000 meters of altitude, we recommend that you be in Cusco, at least 2-3 days before, to acclimatize to this tour.

In our shared services, we will pick up our clients from their hotel as long as it is in the city center.

In our shared services, at the end of the tour, we leave our clients in a place close to the Main Square, it is easier to return to your hotel on foot than to go by bus, since the traffic is terrible. If your hotel is far from the city center, bring extra cash to take a taxi.

The pick-up and arrival times are referential, this will depend on the traffic that can be found in the streets or the delay of other clients, our assistant will arrive at your hotel on time, but sometimes the transport could be delayed a few minutes.
