The Urubamba River runs from the high Andean ranges down through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, past Machu Picchu and into the jungle. It has some exciting white water depending on the section of the river being done and the time of the year. One of our most popular Rafting sections during the season is the “Chuqui” section of the river on the Upper Urubamba. There are good class IIl rapids and the water is not contaminated, as unfortunately the Huambutio and Ollantaytambo section of the river are.
ITINERARY
Day 1
We pick you up at your hotel with our prívate transportación, after one and a half hours drive we arrive to the put -in at the shores of Cusipata River Lodge; our private campground. Our professional Rafting Guides will give you a safety talk and provide you with all the proper equipment for Rafting. You would be floating for approximately two hours, running class II, introductory type rapids. As additional toys to play on this sections of the river you will have Hydrospeeds and Inflatable kayaks. Afterwards, we arrive to the take out and drive to our lodge for lunch. Then as an option you can do Zip line across the river. You will spent the night at “ LODGE” , where we have comfortable double rooms with private bath, you will fall sleep under the whisper of the river.
Day 2
After a relaxing Sauna and a good night sleep , we get up for a healthy breakfast and drive up river to the CHUQUI section, where we will be running class III, III+ rapids . We will include some extra safety such as Kayaker or a Cataraft. After about 2 and a half hours, we arrive back to the lodge, where a Lunch will be served. Afterwards we drive back to Cusco arriving in the late afternoon.

The pickup time in the morning with our bus is an approximately time(according traffic, and group size)

The Video and Pictures service is an optional service that sometimes gives a photographer kayaker from our crew, normally after your tour, you’ll be able to buy it (the CD), please just pay it once you’ll have this product with you, after each trip we delete pictures and videos, so, we can’t guarantee the existence of videos and pictures for long period of time
Children are required to go with her/his parents, we’ve children equipment too

NOTES:
In our shared services, we will pick-up our clients from your hotel as long as it is located in the downtown.
In our shared services, at the end of the tour, we leave our clients in a place close to the Main Square, because is easier go walking instead the car for the traffic jam. If your hotel is far from the downtown, take some cash with you in order to take a taxi.
Pick-up and drop off times are referential, this will depend on the traffic that can be found in the streets or delay of the other clients, our assistant will be on time but sometimes the transport could delay a few minutes.
