Relax on your vacation and spend a pleasant time tasting and learning to make delicious Peruvian dishes as well know a little more about the history of cocoa and learn to make your own chocolate bar.
At 7:40 am we will pick you up from your hotel and begin begin walking to the restaurant to meet with our chef who will take us to the San Pedro market in order to buy the ingredients which we will need for our cooking class. After the market we will head back to the restaurant to start the class. We will prepare Ceviche or Causa Limeña as an entrée, Lomo Saltado as the main course, and Mazamorra morada or arroz con leche for the dessert. At the end of the class we will learn how to prepare our famous Pisco Sour.
Then we taste the dishes prepared during the class. After the class transfer to your hotel in the center.
At 10:40 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in order to go to the Chocolate Museum, once there we will start with the class which lasts 2 hours where you will learn to transform the cob cocoa tree into a bar of chocolate. At each stage, you are going to manipulate the cocoa beans for chocolate: Roast, peel and grind it to a paste. After you prepare your own chocolate with more than 15 flavors and milk chocolate or bitter. At the end of the class you can take all those chocolates home.
