ITINERARY

DAY 1: IQUITOS / ECOLODGE

We begin our adventure through the Peruvian jungle at the airport in the city of Iquitos, then we will move to the town of Nauta, the first town founded by the Spanish on the banks of the Marañón River; The trip lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 min. On the way to the port of Nauta, we will visit San Joaquín de Omaguas, one of the oldest populated centers in the Loreto region, from where we will be able to see the source of the great Amazon River, the largest and longest in the world. We will also visit the Samuel Fritz Interpretation Center where our guides will tell us the history of San Joaquín de Omaguas and the strategic role it played in the 17th and 18th centuries as the head of the evangelical missions.

Then we will move to the pier to continue the trip to the Lodge, on the way we will visit the Casual Farm (flooding season) where we will go in search of flora and fauna species. Upon arrival at the Lodge we will be warmly welcomed by a descendant of the Kukama Kukamiria culture and we will also be able to enjoy a seasonal fruit drink. Room assignation. Lunch.

After breakfast, we have a flora and fauna interpretation walk in our Private Reserve (restinga forest) following the route of primates and other animals. Here we will put our adventurous spirit to the test through trails full of biodiversity. The guide will explain to us about the use of medicinal plants and trees.

In the afternoon we will leave for the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, in the Nauta Caño area where we will register and enter the reserve.

During our visit we will make an excursion in search of pink and gray dolphins through the ravine of the same name, we will also be in contact with the immense variety of flora and fauna that the reserve offers us.

The first thing that will attract our attention are the waters of the river that reflect the sky, the clouds, the vegetation on the banks and the large trees with such fidelity that the visitor has the sensation of sailing between endless mirrors, which is why Pacaya Samiria is also known as "The Jungle of Mirrors".

We will also do a walk to interpret flooded forests, where we will try to see some primates and sloths, during the trip we will be able to identify a variety of birds and a practice of artisanal fishing with the material used by the Amazonian man for subsistence purposes. Overnight.
